Abstract:
This is a collection of 137 sites (Lamping et al., 2021; Ho et al., 2014; Jaeschke et al., 2017; Kim et al., 2010) in the Pacific sector of the Southern Ocean south of the SAF, including three new sites in the Drake Passage. This dataset aims to develop a new GDGT-based (TEXL86-index) temperature calibration, as conventional calibrations do not work in areas colder than 5° C. This dataset refers to Figures 11 and 13 in the corresponding publication.
