Abstract:
This dataset contains 33 new sites at the Chilean margin and in the Drake Passage to verify the functionality of common regional and global calibrations for alkenones and a potential seasonal effect. This dataset is complemented by various previously published sites along the northern Chilean margin (Prahl et al., 2006), the Chilean fjord region (Caniupán et al., 2014), the New Zealand margin, and the pelagic South Pacific (Jaeschke et al., 2017), to place into an overall South Pacific pattern.
