Abstract:
This dataset contains hourly wind wave and water level information for various locations of the nearshore Hornsund fjord, Svalbard in 2013-2021.
The '_properties' files include water levels and bulk wave parameters and are also available as relational dataset. Wave spectra are stored in the '_spectra' files. Raw files contain input pressure measurements from underwater sensors subsampled to 1024 s bursts at 1 Hz measurement frequency at hourly intervals. Furthermore, the Python code to process the data is provided.

In the following description, 'DepId' stands for the deployment ID (n=24). It describes the location (HBK = Hansbukta, ISBW = western Isbjørnhamna, ISBE = eastern Isbjørnhamna, RET = Rettkvalbogen, GAS = Gåshamna, VES = Veslebogen) and deployment's sequence number.
