Mesh size: 100 µm for MSM44 and MSM66, 55 µm for PS93.1
Sieving size: 250 and 63 µm for PS93.1
Storage after retrieval: -80°C for MSM44 and MSM66, 4°C and stained with Rose Bengal/ethanol (96%) mixture for PS93.1
Size measurements: using the software ImageJ on pictures taken through a SteREO DIscovery.V8 microscope for MSM44 and MSM66 (maximum shell diameter only), using a KEYENCE VHX-6000 digital microscope for PS93.1 (Shell area, shell perimeter, maximum and minimum shell diameter).
