Abstract:
We used a regular foldable wooden ruler to measure the height of the snow and the SSL. The ruler was also used for height readings for all other measurements. 0 cm is the snow-ice interface. If multiple snow height measurements were taken for one snowpit event, details can be found in the comments section, which give a range of the depth values within the 1 m wide snowpit.
