Additionally, oxygen saturation, salinity, potential temperature and potential density are also provided. The dataset was used to study the presence and spatial distribution of natural and synthetic estrogenic compounds and pharmaceutical and personal care products (PPCPs) in the Pearl River Estuary and northern shelf of the South China Sea.</description></descriptions><geoLocations><geoLocation><geoLocationBox><westBoundLongitude>114.75377</westBoundLongitude><eastBoundLongitude>114.75485</eastBoundLongitude><southBoundLatitude>21.39006</southBoundLatitude><northBoundLatitude>21.3903</northBoundLatitude></geoLocationBox></geoLocation><geoLocation><geoLocationPlace>South China Sea</geoLocationPlace></geoLocation></geoLocations><fundingReferences><fundingReference><funderName>Federal Ministry of Education and Research</funderName><funderIdentifier funderIdentifierType="Crossref Funder ID">https://doi.org/10.13039/501100002347</funderIdentifier><awardNumber awardURI="https://foerderportal.bund.de/foekat/jsp/SucheAction.do?actionMode=view&amp;fkz=03F0786A">03F0786A</awardNumber><awardTitle>Megacity's fingerprint in Chinese marginal seas: Investigation of pollutant fingerprints and dispersal</awardTitle></fundingReference></fundingReferences></resource>
