Abstract:
The data set contains records from an automatic weather station (AWS) installed at the lateral moraine of Trakarding Glacier (4806 m.a.s.l.), Rolwaling, Nepal Himalaya. The station was installed by the authors and has been operating since May 2016, measuring downward and upward solar radiations, albedo, net radiation, surface and air temperatures, relative humidity, air pressure, wind speed, wind direction (degree from north to east), rain by WTX sensor and precipitation by tipping bucket at the one-hour interval. The data provided here represents a cleaned data set extracted from the original data logger files. Radiation data are significant affected by snow. Please see the related journal articles for details on sensors.
