Abstract:
This record allows a high-resolution continental climatic reconstruction for the past ca. 100,000 yrs for the Delagoa Bight. Climate sensitive proxies, like the elemental indicators for fluvial input and weathering type provide information on climatic changes in the adjacent catchment areas (Incomati, Matola, and Lusutfu rivers).
