Comment:
* samples from Bernardi, 2013
Correction factors for δ18O values:
Samples from Bernardi (2013) were corrected by −0.8‰ according to Sharma & Clayton (1965) for analyses performed at T= 323.15 °K. The new samples were corrected for −1.2‰. This values was obtained as the difference between the fractionation among CO2 and solid dolomite according to Rosenbaum & Sheppard, (1986) (10^3lnα = 6.65 x 10^5 x (1/T^2) + 4.23) and CO2 and solid calcite according to Kim et al (2007) (10^3lnα = 3.59 x (10^3/T) - 1.79) for a reaction temperature of T= 348.15 °K.
Errors related to analyses performed by Bernardi et al. (2013): δ13C = ±0.5‰ ; δ18O = ±0.1‰
Errors related to analyses presented in this study: δ13C = ±0.04‰ ; δ18O = ±0.06‰
