Comment:
Lake George water levels for the period 1820–1886, reproduced from the reconstruction and measurements of Henry Chamberlain Russell. The data were digitised from the hydrograph diagrams presented in Russell (1886). Dates are given as the 15th day of the month but should only be treated as indicative because no dates were given in the original publication. The levels were surveyed based on sites located at several locations around Lake George. From February 1885, Russell collected monthly measurements from a site located on the SW shore (approximately 35.184°S, 149.400°E).
