DOC and dissolved nutrients were corrected for control concentrations and expressed as daily loads taking into consideration the total volume of water that was in the microcosms for each phase (RIPPLE 40 ml, STABLE.P1: 198 ml and STABLE.P2: 231 ml). Negative values indicate retention and positive values indicate release.
