Abstract:
The 'Departamento Municipal de Águas e Esgotos - DMAE' data were acquired at the Guaíba River mouth from 2003 to 2013 on a daily basis. The data set was assembled gathering daily river discharge data from the main rivers that contribute to the Guaíba River and water turbidity data recorded at 30 minutes interval. The turbidity data were converted to SPM concentration throughout calibration procedures in laboratory following standard procedures. The SPM-turbidity relationship was determined with a r = 0.98. Daily averaged SPM data is available in this dataset.
