Abundance of individual calcareous nannofossil taxa used in this study: R= rare (< 1 specimen per 10 fields of view, FOV); F = few (1 specimen per 1-10 FOV); C = common (>1-10 specimens per FOV); A = abundant (>10-100 specimens per FOV and D = dominant (>100 specimens per FOV). For study specific abundance definitions from previously published work see Bralower and Mutterlose (1995).

For selected biostratigraphically important taxa (in bold) a dash is used to indicate where the sample has been inspected in this study or Bralower and Mutterlose (1995) but the species not found.
