The organic matter from the floodplain was ¹⁴C dated in the Geology Institute of RAS and in the radiocarbon laboratory of the University of Helsinki.
¹⁴C AMS dates of ice wedges from the Adventdalen valley published by Jeppesen (2001), Vittinghus et al. (2008) und Christiansen (2005) were used.
