Abstract:
A collection of early instrumental meteorological records for 40 locations in Switzerland covering the 18th and 19th century. Available variables are air temperature, pressure, precipitation, snow depth, snow/rain occurrence, humidity, wind force and direction, cloud cover, wet bulb temperature, water temperature, soil temperature, and weather description, for a total of over 2.5 million observations.
