Abstract:
Firn Porosity Data (including open and closed porosity) measured at the sites of Summit (Greenland), DE08-2 (Antarctica) and Vostok (Antarctica). Measurements were performed with gas pycnometry on cylindrical samples of 4 to 5cm in height and diameter, excavated from freshly drilled firn cores.
