The Imagenex Delta T multibeam echo sounder was used to detect gas releases on the ocean floor. It was a supplemental sensor to record water column data in addition to the hull mounted ships multibeam (ELAC SB3050).
The Imagenex Delta T was installed in the moon pool of RV Poseidon. The purpose was not to map the ocean floor. It was used to monitor the water column for the detection of gas releases.
Raw data are delivered within Imagenex current multibeam raw data format (.837).
Raw data files can be observed with Imagenex proprietary DeltaT.exe software package. ** For all details see the full metadata description at "https://doi.pangaea.de/10.1594/PANGAEA.905910"! ** Latitude/Longitude extracted from DSHIP.
