Abstract:
COAWST model output for 10 typical, maximum and minimum representative years for Madeira and Porto Santo Islands wind studies. Variables included at @ 100m are wind velocity, wind direction, Weibull shape and form. This data represents the long-term, maximum and minimum climatology through a single year, constructed from a long-term period of 10 years measured data. Each climatology has twelve individual monthly simulations. The data has 1 km resolution, provided from COAWST. A coupled model with Weather Research and Forecasting (WRF), Regional Ocean Modelling System (ROMS) and WaveWatch III (WW3). Data in netcdf4 format.
