Comment:
The dataset contains the vertical position of the meltlayers in the 2015 RECAP ice core and its their respective thicknesses. The melt layers have been detected by visual inspection of the ice cores as well as by investigating the density profiles that have been obtained using the AWI ice core computer tomograph.
