Comment:
Annual melt ratios of the RECAP ice cores have been obtained by calculating the Snow Water Equivalent (SWE) of the summed thicknesses of melt layers contained in an annual layer and divided the result by the SWE of the respective annual layer. Densities of the annual layers have been taken from 2D computed tomohraph measurements performed on each core.
