Comment:
During the POLARSTERN cruise ANT-XXII/2 (ISPOL) to the Southern Ocean sea-ice associated copepods were sampled from ice cores and preserved in formalin. Photographs of the copepod species were taken through the ocular of the stereo microscope. No scale is provided, but a link to the respective WoRMS species page where sizes for adults can be found. If available a link to a corresponding dataset on species abundances during the cruises is provided.
