Comment:
Photographs of copepod species were taken from net samples of the METEOR cruise M44/2 to the northern Red Sea. The specimens were identified from formalin preserved samples which is noted in the metadata. Photographs were taken through the ocular of the stereo microscope. No scale is provided, but a link to the respective WoRMS species page where sizes for adults can be found. If available a link to a corresponding dataset on species abundances during the cruises is provided.
