High-resolution line-scan images were recorded and XRF analysis was carried out with an ITRAX XRF core scanner (Cox Analytical Systems, Sweden). XRF analyses were conducted with a chromium X-ray tube (settings 30 kV and 55 mA), an exposure time of 20 seconds, and a resolution of 500 µm.
