Comment:
Initial Tuning of L* to LR04 for high resolution age models of IODP Expedition 354 transect. Ages are based on ground-truth constraints given in Table 1 and tuned to the benthic isotope stack LR04 of Lisiecki and Raymo (2005; doi:10.1029/2004PA001071) using color reflectance L*. Note that tuning points were chosen to optimize the correlation between LRO4 and L* stack rather than to replicate between sites. Tuning experiments were conducted with Analyseries (Paillard et al., 1996; doi:10.1029/96EO00259).
