There are several studies on the impacts of this fishery, but the great majority directed to the characterization of the ichthyofauna and accompanying carcinofauna. Based on the context and due to the need for knowledge about the malacofauna associated with the bottom trawling trawling of the Penaeidae family in the Northern Region of Brazil, this study aimed to characterize the molluscs caught in the industrial shrimp fishery in the region.
