Mayo (BYC I). East of village of Bunnyconnellan; lower western slopes of Ox Mountains and 4 km south of Carrownaglogh prehistoric field enclosure. Short monolith that included peat and underlying mineral soils; what looked like pre-peat, small stone clearance cairn nearby. 5 large pine stumps on ridge nearby (within ca. 120 m); directly on mineral ground; some on ca. 40 cm of peat; on stump on ca. 30 cm of peat was ca. 120 years old.
