Seven transects perpendicular to the coastline with 5 stations each were sampled with a box corer (0.02 m² surface area, 3 replicates per station). Macrozoobenthos retained on 1 mm meshes was sorted to species level and counted. The three central transects had been fed with 300-400 m³ of sand per m of coastline 9 months before, the peripheral transects were unchanged (control).
All abundance data are #/0,02 m² (individuals per box core).
