IRM subsequently acquired in oppositely directed fields of 100 mT (IRM-100) and 300 mT (IRM-300) was measured in order to estimate the ratio of low- ([titano-]magnetite/maghemite) to high-coercive (hematite, goethite) magnetic minerals by calculation of S-100 = IRM-100/IRM700 and S-300 = IRM-300/IRM700 ratios (Liu et al., 2012)
