1 line of king's foot is 1.935 mm. The indoor and outdoor temperatures are recorded in Reaumur, the first have been record with a Dollond thermometer in the main hall of the observatory, the other thermometer were built by the same artist and is identical to the first, this thermometer is outdoors, 10 varas above the garden ground. Three measurements were recorded and the arithmetic mean is given. Barometer: The mercurial purification, the scale and the fill procedure have been done with all the care possible. The mercury have been boiled out an in the tube.
