Data source: O Patriota Jornal Literario, Político e Mercantil do Rio de Janeiro.
Comparing these data with others recording in Rio de Janeiro, although, the observation time is unknown, we can think that it is probably at midDay. Another possibility is that they calculated the mean of the recording data and published these only values. Others contemporaries meteorologists affirm that M.J. Araujo took meteorological data for 30 Years (Rodrigues, 1846). Nevertheless, these records have not been found.
