Abstract:
The dataset contains high spatial (~10 m posting), temporal (1-2 days), and spectral (1 nm) resolution spectral and broadband albedo measurements measured at 325-1075nm using an Analytical Spectral Device (ASD) Fieldspec HandHeld 2 Spectroradiometer. High quality albedo data were collected on June 16, 19, and 25th 2013. The study site is located on the southwestern Greenland Ice Sheet approximately 30 km northeast of Kangerlussuaq, Greenland. Albedo measurements were collected along a 1.25 km transect situated well within the ablation zone.
