Comment:	Samples were not collected and handled in a way to minimize carbon contamination and are likely overestimates of true values. TC data are averages of 2-3 replicates with standard deviation of the measurement and the coefficient of variance of the measurements. TIC was determined by subtraction of TOC from TC.
