Comment:
The files contain the interpolated data used in the paper: “Patterns and dynamics of European vegetation change over the last 15000 years”. Each row corresponds to one 0.5°x0.5° grid cell. The first two columns contain the longitude and latitude information for the centre of each 0.5° grid cell. Each of the following columns contains the value from 0 to 4, per 500-year time bin. These values correspond to one of the five abundance classes defined for each taxa (see Methods for details). Values of “-9999” indicate ice cover of that grid cell at that time. Missing values “NA” represent gridcells that were beyond the extrapolation range used.
