Comment:
The attached meteorological numerical weather prediction data was used in the validation process of the new proposed data representation template 5.42 incorporating lossless compression using the Golomb-Rice algorithm which is recommended by the Consultative Committee for Space Data Systems (CCSDS).
The data is supplied here to allow other representatives of the expert team on data representation maintenance and monitoring (http://www.wmo.int/pages/prog/www/ISS/Meetings/IPET-DRMM_Geneva2016/IPET-DRMM_DocPlan.html) to verify the evaluation process.
