Carbonate chemistry and physiological growth data of experiments with C. pelagicus. Mean TA and DIC were calculated as average of initial and final values. pH, pCO2, HCO3-, CO32-, and CO2 were calculated from mean TA and DIC as described in Section 'Substrate-inhibitor interaction test with E. huxleyi'. POC = particulate organic carbon, TPC = total particulate carbon, PIC = particulate inorganic carbon.
