Comment:
The data were collected with RB Otzum (ICBM) in the outer Jade Bay (south-east North Sea) on 3 March 2016 while driving back and forth along transects between Schillig and Mellum (A) as well as between Wilhelmshaven and Tossens (B) during an entire tidal cycle, starting at high tide. A Forel-Ule Scale Toolkit by NIOZ and Secchi disc with a 30 cm diameter was used to measure secchi depth and watercolours.
Clouds covering was estimated between 1 (none) and 8 (total) and converted into percentage.
