Comment:
Permeability of North Sea surface sediment was measured with falling head method on 5 cm long sediment cores sampled from various sediment samplers (Van Veen grab sampler, Shipek grab sampler, Box corer, Multicorer). Porosity was estimated as weight loss of freeze-dried sediment cores with known volume.
