For calculation of STD, water temperatures measured 50 m above seafloor with the MTLs at individual stations were used. *Note (Thermal gradient 330°C/km): because of the non-linear slope of the profile this gradient was not considered further. Tests: number of probes from which geothermal gradients were calculated.
