MD02-2489 (MD022489) * Latitude: 54.390700 * Longitude: -148.921300 * Date/Time: 2002-05-23T00:00:00 * Elevation: -3640.0 m * Recovery: 29.8 m * Campaign: MD122 (IMAGES VII - WEPAMA) * Basis: Marion Dufresne (1995) * Method/Device: Giant piston corer (GPC) * Comment: Originally the site and core belonged to the cruise IMAGES VII WEPAMA but was postponed due to tight schedule. The core was then taken in 2002, during transit, preliminary to cruise IMAGES VIII MONA.
Measured on Neogloboquadrina pachyderma sinistral. Reservoir ages and 14C-plateau boundaries were taken from Sarnthein et al. (2015). Ages have been revised after publishing in Maier (2014), here the revised ages are given.
