Comment:
DEPTH, sediment/rock [m] is given in mbsf. All Ichthyolith counts were collected as part of this study. The primary age model was developed using biostratigraphic and magnetostratigraphic markers (see Gubbio Age model for details) and age datums from GTS 2012. A second age model (a helium age model) was used to test the sensitivity of our conclusions to age models affects. Helium sedimentation rates were directly taken from Figure 2 of Mukhopadhyay et al. (2001). The Gubbio K/Pg boundary is at 347.63 m (GTS 2012 boundary age = 66.04 Ma). MAR were calculated using a constant dry bulk density of 2.7g/cm^3 in both cases.
