DEPTH, sediment/rock [m] is given in mbsf. Tooth counts and sediment mass from Table 7 in Shackleton (1984). All ages were updated using magneto and biostratigraphic tie points as presented in Table 1 and 2 of Shackleton (1984). To re-calculate MAR rates, shipboard wet bulk density, porosity, grain density, porosity, and water content data was taken from Table 6 in Shipboard Scientific Party (1984). Site 527. in Init. Repts. DSDP 74 by Moore et al. (1984). Dry bulk density was then calculated using those factors (wet bulk density, porosity, etc), after a formula (equation 2) in Dadey et al. (1992). Note: All columns marked 'updated' were updated for the present paper as described above.
