Light: The absolute light values were not good. They were utilized in a relative manner (to determine the different % of light). In situ vertical profiles of photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) were measured using factory calibrated LICOR 1000 sensors. The data from P26 and P20 is suspect due to a large wire angle on the sensor caused by insufficient weight. Weather conditions were not favorable for an accurate light profile. The light profile corresponding to P20 was utilized.
