Comment:
Sediment depth is given in mbsf. Comparison of epsilonNd measured by our technique (acetic acid leach) and standard methods (Burton and Vance, 2000; Bayon et al., 2002). Comparisons were performed on the same sample or on successive sampling at the same depth in the same core. Comparison with Burton and Vance (2000)'s data were performed on Site ODP 758. Comparison with the Bayon et al., 2002 method was performed on Sites ODP 758, 757 and 707. All techniques give undistinguishable results within the statistical errors. Are also presented duplicates obtained with our method on separate sub-samples.
