Comment:
The 3.5 kHz-sediment echosounder profiles of cruise ARK-V/3a were originally recorded on 10 paper rolls. Each roll was digitized using a scanner "Océ CS 4044 Colour System" by SAGA GmbH (http://www.digitalarchivieren.de). Resulting 10 files are stored in tif-format with a resolution of 200 dpi and were zipped to reduce its size by about 30%.
