Comment:
We received two separate bottles of sample PK1. They clearly differ in composition, presumably because of heterogeneity in the packer chamber. In Hole 395A, the sediment/basalt contact is at 93 meters sub-bottom. Hole 395B, offset 100 meters, was not drilled to basement.
