Comment:
Sediment depth is given in mbsf. Formulas have been calculated on the basis of 20 oxygens and four hydroxyls per unit cell, considering (Si + Al)IV = 8 atoms per formula units and assigning the remaining Al to the octahedral sites together with Fe and Mg. The Mg excess in octahedral sites has been assigned to the interlayer positions.
