Calculations were made according to the isotope mass balance equation: 100A=Bx+(100-x)C, where A is d13C-Corg of sediment; i' is d13C-Corg of microorganism biomass (-20.0 per mil); i¡ is d13C-Corg in suspended matter of the surface water layer ; x is percentage of newly formed Corg in total Corg content in the fluffy layer.
