Comparison of the EDS device used in this study with WDS microprobes from GeoForschungsZentrum (GFZ, Potsdam, Germany), from
CAMPARIS service (CMP, Paris, France) and from Saclay (France; Cioni et al., 1998). Reference material comprises volcanic glasses with a chemistry ranging from basalt to rhyolite. ALV981R23, CFA47, and KE12 samples from Cioni et al. (1998)
