Comment:
Cation numbers on O = 6 (pyroxenes) and O = 4 (spinels) basis. The oxide values are normalized to total 100%. Fe2O3 of spinel was estimated so as to make cation total 3 on the 4 oxygen basis, assuming R2+R3+ 2O4 stoichiometry and TiR2+ - 2R3+ exchange.
