Comment:
Ten 14C-AMS dates were calibrated with the Calib 5.0.1. program (Stuiver and Reimer, 1993) and the MARINE04 calibration curve (Hughen et al., 2004). Prior to 27 ka the age model is based on the correlation with the GISP2 ice core (Grootes et al., 1993, doi:10.1038/366552a0; Meese et al., 1997, doi:10.1029/97JC00269). Four additional tie points were added through the comparison of the G. bulloides d18O from both cores MD99-2343 and MD95-2043 (Cacho et al., 1999, doi:10.1029/1999PA900044; Sierro et al., 2005, doi:10.1029/2004PA001051). The age model was performed with the AnalySeries Version 1.1 (Paillard et al., 1996).
